  1. What is the Employability Checkup and how do I use it?
    The Employability Checkup provides a profile of your ability to find work in a specific occupation at a given wage in a particular geographical location. On the tool, you may select your desired occupation, your chosen industry, where you live, your education, and your current wages to generate a profile.

  2. Who could use the Employability Checkup?
    The Employability Checkup may be used by students, jobseekers and workers to see what jobs they are currently marketable for or could obtain with training. They also can explore potential careers and education programs. Parents may use it to explore career opportunities for their high school or college age children.

  3. What will the Employability Checkup tell me?
    In the Employability Checkup, you may select your desired occupation, your chosen industry, where you live or want to live, your current or planned education, and your current or desired wages. This information will be used to develop your employability profile including trends in your chosen occupation and industry, local and state unemployment rates, typical education requirements for the occupation, and how your current wage compares to typical wages for your chosen occupation and location.
