This site offers two applications that were designed to assist individuals in planning career goals and to provide an estimate as to the amount of compensation that may be expected in the future for a particular job/position. The first is the Salary Potential that estimates the annual mean salary potential in 15 years for over 5500 positions. The second is the Student Cost of Living that provides a student's cost-of-living (COL) for consumables in any of over 7,200 U.S., Canadian, and international living locations.

This gateway provides access to a wide range of Census data collection program areas including building permits, employment and earning data, occupation data, international trade statistics, and more.
EconData.Net
Contains more than 800 links to socio-economic data sources, arranged by both subject and provider. Provides pointers to the World Wide Web's premiere data collections, and a list of the ten best sites for finding regional economic data.
