The American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (AICPCU) and the Insurance Institute of America (IIA) are independent, nonprofit organizations offering educational programs and professional certification to people in all segments of the property and liability insurance business. We respond to the educational needs of people in insurance and risk management to help them provide professional service to the public. More than 150,000 insurance practitioners around the world are involved in Institute programs.
Insurance Vocational Education Student Training (InVEST),
Founded in 1970 by the Independent Insurance Agents of Los Angeles, InVEST began training students in insurance agency and company operations and encouraging them to pursue careers in the industry. Over the course of the next three decades, InVEST has blossomed into 235 programs in 30 states with more than 96,000 graduates. InVEST develops a diverse pool of insurance professionals and informed consumers by educating high school and community college students on careers in insurance, financial services and risk management and encourages them to pursue careers in the industry.
National Center for Construction Education and Research
The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) is a not- for- profit education foundation created to help address the critical workforce shortage facing the construction industry and to develop industry driven standardized craft training programs with portable credentials.
