Fee Schedule:
General Contractor: $110
Mechanical Contractor: $110
Bidders License: $120
Fire Protection: $250 intial ($100 renewal)
Alarm Systems: $250 initial ($200 renewal)


Frequency and Location of Examination:
Two to three times per month across the state.

Licensing Requirements:
Pass examination. For general contractors, approved financial statement showing net worth of $35,000 for Group 1 license, $100,000 for Group 2, $200,000 for Group 3, and $10,000 for Group 4. For mechanical contractors, approved financial statement showing net worth of $10,000 for Group 1 license, $25,000 for Group 2, and $75,000 for Group 3.
